These projects just keep popping up! Bobby Neel Adams takes old photos, tears them and glues them over a more recent photo (or vice versa, it’s kind of hard to tell…). One thing is for sure, Photoshop was not used. The results? A bit creepy as usual…

Our dear friend Laura (aka Cubik) just posted this video in her blog, and it’s so funny that I can’t resist to post it. There is not much information on the website of Utamkamon but it seems to be the pilot episode of a new serie. It has the perfect combination between weirdness and fun, and that’s why I love it!
In my recent search for vintage plant images, I came across this wonderful resource. Enormous collection of all kind of plants, animals, human parts and other abnormalities one might look for throughout the week. Great thing about it is that it’s mostly free of charge, and available for non-commercial use. Thanks Lukas Large!

If you have a brother or sister (especially from the same parents) probably you have heard the phrase “you wouldn’t even be able to deny you’re siblings!” I for one never agreed with these accusations concerning me and my brother, but perhaps I should reevaluate my standpoint after seeing Ulric Collett’s pictures…
To investigate the subject he has put together a photographic project, involving his whole family (and some other people)…
A little bit late but here is a video explaining how easy is the work of Santa, now that Google exists:

Have you ever looked at a stock photo and thought how fun it would be to recreate it?
So to continue with the theme of reenacting photos here is another project: take any stock photo, pose and shoot!

Oldschool vintage childhood (or otherwise) photos reenacted by the same subjects many years later, with every little detail in place including location, props and lighting (imagine all the work that went into finding everything!). This is Irina Werning‘s photography series titled “Back to the Future”.
Then there is the less professional version of this project on zefrank.com where people just send in their old photos together with the reenaction. Not so perfect down to every little detail, but just as fun!
